A collision between two vehicles on Wednesday morning caused several additional injuries after it traveled onto a nearby sidewalk.
The accident happened on 15 Street and 3rd Avenue North in Birmingham near the Firehouse Shelter.
Officials say one of the cars ran on to the sidewalk in front of the shelter, hitting 4 pedestrians. One driver and all four pedestrians were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
